Vítězslav Traurig is a legal counsel at Škoda Auto. As part of his agenda, he focuses on IT law, especially with a focus on the vehicle. He addresses vehicle cyber security, incident and vulnerability resolution, setting up vehicle connectivity functions and the related data protection.

He provides comprehensive legal advice from the purchase of vehicle software to setting up the legal conditions for individual customer services within a connected vehicle.

Vítězslav was heavily involved in setting up the Automotive Car Security Management System at Škoda Auto and participated in the integration of the legal department into all key processes in dealing with incidents, vulnerabilities and online vehicle updates.

Currently, in cooperation with other Volkswagen Group brands, he is focusing on the implementation of other new legislation affecting the connected vehicle, such as the Data Act, the AI Act or the Digital Services Act.
